Simco Silver Show Halter $65

This vintage silver show halter features 17 silver conchos and bars plus silver buckles keepers and tips. It is marked Simco C-O. I believe this is either a yearling or weanling sized halter but here are the measurements. Cheeks - 6 inches between the hardware with the leather being a total of 6 3/4 inches, Nose is approx. 11 inches and the poll strap is a total of approx 22 inches. The leather is soft and supple but there is a small spot on the nose that has been roughed up. I could not get a good pic of the spot as it is not noticeable unless you have the halter up close for personal inspection.

Beautiful A. Tietjen Reno, Nev silver show bit in excellent condition. This style bit was discontinued in 1985 so it is at least 27 years old. It features a 5 inch mouth piece and beautiful engraving down both sides and on the slobber bar. SOLD!

McLellands Silver Show Halter $

This vintage McLelland silver show halter features sterling silver buckles and bars with gold flower insets. I'm not sure if the flowers are real gold or nu-gold as there is nothing marked on the bars with the exception of Mexico Sterling. The silver buckles are also marked Mexico Sterling and feature a hallmark stamp. The measurements are as follows: Leather is approx 1 inch. Nose - approx 12 inches. Cheeks - 7 inches between hardware 7 1/2 inches total. Poll strap is approx 17 inches. The least expensive silver halter on McLellands website is 1249.99 dollars and that is for sterling overlaid hardware, this halter has solid sterling silver buckles and bars. Halter is shown on my 8 yr. old Qtr mare but I think this is for a smaller horse as she has a very tiny head. Please check the measurements as there are no refunds on the beautiful halter. SOLD!
